Job Summary:The Help Desk Specialist position is a Tier 1 position
that provides support for all aspects of technology equipment such
as computer hardware, software, networking, and VoIP devices for
our organization. The person in this position will perform general
technical support functions, including physical installation,
assembly, configuration and maintenance of technology systems. This
person must demonstrate and strive to constantly maintain
proficiency in learning and using technology, software, and
hardware.

ProgramRequirements:Who You Are:Education: - Associate's degree in
Information Technology or related field with 1 to 2 years of IT
Help Desk experience Or an Associate's degree can be substituted
with: - 3 to 4 years of IT Help Desk experience with one or more
industry certifications (A+, Net+, Sec+, Microsoft Fundamentals
Cert(any), CCNA)Knowledge: - Computer hardware, software, and
Windows installation and troubleshooting - Computer networks,
network administration, and network installation (Unifi and
Mikrotik a plus) - E-mail Systems (Microsoft 365), AV, Spam
Filters, and Basic Active Directory - VoIP device configuration,
deployment, and troubleshooting (3Cx a plus) - Use of documentation
and remote management tools. (Hudu and ConnectWise a plus)Skills: -
Ability to install and configure computer hardware, software, and
networks - Analytical and problem-solving skills - The ability to
prioritize tasks and make decisions effectively - Effective verbal,
presentation, and listening skills - Effective written
communication skills - Stress management skills - Time management
skills - Ability to lift a max of 50#, lift and carry max of 20#;
unrestricted walking and standing
Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office
environment with routine use of standard office equipment such as
computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Travel is necessary on an
