**Job Summary**

As a Machinist at Tradesmen International, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment. This includes dismantling, repairing, or replacing defective parts, and reassembling machinery using machinist's tools, chain hoists, and steel rollers.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Install ship machinery, such as propelling machinery and steering gear, working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers, and micrometers.

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

* Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects and meet deadlines.

**Requirements**

* 2+ years of experience in a machinist or related role.

* Strong knowledge of machinist's tools and equipment.

* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
