Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team at Christus Health. As an Oncology Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with cancer and their families.Responsibilities

• Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care.
• Provide technical nursing care and interventions to a designated patient population.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families on cancer treatment options, side effects, and self-care strategies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.Requirements
  • Current Louisiana RN License.
  • Current BLS.
  • Current ACLS.
  • Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certification required within 3 months of hire date and maintains current chemotherapy certification.
