This role is responsible for leading internal programming that aligns with the college's strategic plan and institutional priorities.A key focus of this position is ensuring that dual enrollment efforts align with Louisiana's new accountability system while creating paid internship opportunities in high-wage, high-demand fields. Additionally, the Executive Director will oversee the development and implementation of summer internship programs and academic camps to enhance student engagement and career readiness.College: Baton Rouge Community CollegeType of Appointment: Full time - RegularSalary: Will be commensurate with education and experience.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leadership (35%):--- Provide visionary leadership for dual enrollment and strategic academic initiatives.--- Lead internal strategic efforts to align academic initiatives with institutional priorities and workforce needs.--- Develop and implement strategies to expand educational access and enhance student outcomes.--- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic academic initiatives.--- Identify internal opportunities for academic innovation and process improvement.--- Work with institutional research teams to assess and refine strategic initiatives.--- Ensure dual enrollment efforts align with Louisiana's accountability system.--- Develop and expand dual enrollment pathways.--- Design and oversee summer internship programs.--- Develop and manage summer academic camps.--- Identify and secure funding to sustain academic partnership initiatives.--- Advocate for policies that enhance educational access.
• Administrative Duties (35%):--- Work collaboratively with academic deans and department heads.--- Ensure adequate staffing and faculty credentialing.--- Supervise program directors and staff.--- Ensure all programs meet compliance requirements.--- Oversee curriculum alignment with industry and transfer pathways.--- Analyze metrics for dual enrollment and strategic initiatives.--- Prepare reports on program performance.
• Partnership Development (25%):--- Build and sustain relationships with K-12 districts and community organizations.--- Serve as the primary liaison between BRCC and external partners.--- Collaborate with industry partners to create paid internship opportunities.--- Partner with faculty and community organizations to enhance summer programs.--- Represent BRCC at meetings and conferences.--- Lead outreach initiatives to increase participation in programs.Required Education: Bachelor's degree in education, higher education administration, or a related fieldRequired Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in academic administration, dual enrollment, or strategic partnership management.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and interpersonal skills.Preferred Education: Master's degree in education, higher education administration, or a related fieldBenefits: Attractive benefits package including retirement, medical insurance options, and generous leave benefits.Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted until filled.Application Instructions: Submit a cover letter, resume, transcript, and references.
