Job Description:
Classification: 40 hours/week (Full-Time/Non-Exempt)
Mission Statement: The mission of Sexual Trauma Awareness &
Response (STAR) is to support survivors of sexual trauma, improve
systems response, and create social change to end sexual
violence.
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
- Lead and manage the needs of the counseling program by
- Developing, monitoring, and updating agency procedures to
ensure alignment with the work conducted by the counseling team to
maintain consistency across branches
- Identifying barriers and gaps in service delivery
- Working with the counseling team to develop solutions to
overcome barriers and gaps in service delivery
- Collaborate with the Director of Programs and Director of
Grants and Operations to seek out grant funding and other revenue
streams to enhance or further develop the counseling program at
STAR
- Identifying areas of growth and opportunity for the counseling
team and program as a whole, such as implementing new therapeutic
interventions and programming to fulfill STAR's mission
- Directly supervise Counselors including:
- Facilitating weekly team meetings
- Facilitation at a minimum, 1-1 coaching meetings with the
counseling team members
- Facilitating weekly supervision with counseling
interns
- Conducting annual performance reviews with team
members
- Ensuring the delivery of STAR services through ongoing staff
support, time management, performance management, and quality
assurance
- Maintain an active caseload of STAR clients (between 8-15)

- You have completed, or will complete in the first year of
employment, a mandatory 40 hours of sexual violence training; plus
20 hours of continuing education/training annually.
- You have a valid driver's license and a working, insured
vehicle at the time of appointment.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; some evenings
and weekends expected
STAR requires all employees to consent to and successfully complete
a full background investigation, which includes a criminal history
check and fingerprinting.
