Media and Promotions Region is responsible for leading media and
promotional initiatives. It leads all dialogue with parent company
media teams on local media buying strategies that build brands and
enhance customer activity. This person assists with presence
properties activation programs and is responsible for leveraging
these assets through region and customer marketing programs.What
your day will look like: Serve as point of contact with The
Coca-Cola Company, agencies, and other Brand Partners for media
plan development, execution, and post evaluation Negotiate, manage,
and steward contractual elements with agency partner chosen to
handle Coca-Cola s local media Oversee development of flowcharts,
reporting tools, budget and added value tracker, and sales aids
with agency partner and Region leadership Ensure added value levels
and return on investment by building consumer and customer
promotions and programs to drive additional sales and profit
Monitor and ensure stewardship and payment of media invoices,
payment reconciliation with The Coca-Cola Company, and post buy
analysis where necessary with agency partner Ensure that taggable
media is leveraged with customers and ensure execution excellence
Determine most efficient spend by market based on volume, share,
and media optimization Develop Asset marketing plans and manage
execution of all marketing and media elements committed as part of
Asset contracts Ensure asset plan is consistent with national
strategic asset and brand strategies Work with brand teams and/or
vendors on in-venue and in-store promotions cross promoting assets
Serve as creative interface with Regional Print Shop Act to ensure
all Point of Sales (POS), coupons, rules, etc. for customized local
programs protect the company s rights, trademarks, and investment
while serving the best interest of our customers and assets Work
with Field Marketing Execution Manager in developing custom Picture
of Success and sampling programs Oversee development and placement
of print materials for publications including sports programs and
sponsorship recognitions and ensure they follow brand strategy
Attend strategy meetings and collaborate with all levels of sales
and marketing on local media initiatives and leverage with
customers Support sales rally activities Support Multicultural
Leader/Pillar Programs relevant to the marketplace Performs
appropriate duties as assigned by managementWhat you need to
succeed: Minimum age 18 years old Valid driver s license required
and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and
compliance with UNITED safety policies Regular and prompt
attendance is an essential function of the job Ability to read,
write and speak English Ability to maintain a neat professional
appearance within Company guidelines Ability to maintain safety and
security of Company assets Ability to utilize all Company provided
resources and technology Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year
College or university; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of organization Ability to calculate figures and amounts
such as discounts, interest, and commissions Strong attention to
details with good planning and organizing skills is required
Strategic thinking skills along with problem-solving and solid
analytical skills Media Buying knowledge is required Good
